Hey all,the deadline is now March 1 instead of 31. Some people mentioned the deadline was too far away and I have to agree.. Also I will be out of the country and don't want to tend to dA via internet cafe.
Hope this is okay! If we don't reach the 30 mark I'll still have a 3rd prize/people's choice of some sort.

This attitude is not ok, for many reasons beside it being completely illogical.
1) You don't get to decide who is a geek or not a geek. Period. Geekdom is about acceptance, not rejection. If you're all about Not Liking Other People That Like The Stuff That You Like, you're not a geek, you're a hipster. Who found a pair of glasses.

Fiverr is a micro-gig site, that's intended to let people purchase small task for five bucks. They offer gigs as funny as having a hand puppet sing happy birthday to as helpful as having a web designer help you fix some broken html.
I singed up to sell commissions on fiverr about two months ago, as I wasn't having any luck getting commissioned via my other attempts. So far there's been a little good and a lot of things I don't like.
First, the bad:
-When you first start out with Fiverr you can only charge $5 per gig. Fiverr offers add-on, but in order to use add-on you have to achieve a high seller rate.
